I ordered what I thought was the simple waist cincher, exactly as pictured in the product image (smooth, satin-y front) and as described in the Product Description.
However, when I got it, it had a lace front and garters. NOT what is described and exactly what I DIDN'T want. Unfortunately, I bought it for an event a few days later so I had no choice but to keep it.
I wrote HerRoom right away to let them know that they sent the wrong product, but I got no response, so hey -- guess they don't care what they are sending out. A simple apology or acknowledgement of their mistake would have gone a long way but now I know never to order from them again.
On to an actual review of the product (even though the one I got is not really the right product here): the lace cincher was fine, but I was looking for a little more 'cinching'. A previous reviewer said the one with lace and garters does not provide as much support, and is not as invisible as the one actually listed here.
However, I guess the lace one with garters does what it's supposed to do -- just not what I wanted it to do. I still wore it and was lucky that the dress I wore it with hid it well, but I wanted to be able to wear it with other things and unfortunately, its use is limited. However, it's pretty, held me in relatively well and was pretty comfortable.
